Bill’s expertise lies in managing and advising on financial turnarounds, workouts, restructurings, bankruptcies, financial analysis, and reporting. He is adept at financial modeling, certified in forensic accounting, and knowledgeable in technical data system consulting. His experience extends to debtor and creditor advisory services, and he remains on the forefront of emerging financial innovations and developments associated with artificial intelligence.
Bill specializes in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, due diligence, bankruptcy administration, litigation support, and forensic analysis. This includes experience in divestitures, liquidations, and winddowns. He has held senior management or advisory roles in manufacturing, distribution, transportation, energy, and service companies. • Served as CFO and executive at Patriarch Partners, a $6 billion investment firm, overseeing turnaround operations.
• Worked as the Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) of Stone Panels, Inc., leading their financial restructuring and bankruptcy process.
• Served as Chapter 11 Liquidating Trustee for a marine technology company, negotiating and closing a successful asset sale and technology transfer.
• Provided forensic accounting testimony in a Chapter 11 case, contributing to a $38 million judgment in favor of a manufacturing client.
• As CFO of TekOil, he managed operations through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leading to successful asset sale.
• Improved a $400 million temporary services company’s EBITDA from negative $4 million to positive $12 million as CFO.
• Served as Board Member and CFO of a $135 million healthcare provider and managed the company’s relocation from Minneapolis to Dallas.
• Through forensic accounting analysis, identified and documented a bank and regulatory accounting issue that resulted in a recovery to the FDIC resolution fund of over $30MM.
