Melaini Peet

I have 29 years experience in the financial services industry. I was Vice President and Branch Manager of Union Bank in Carlsbad and Encinitas prior to obtaining my Certification in Fiduciary Management from the California State University Fullerton. I became licensed with the Department of Consumer Affairs, Professional Fiduciaries Bureau in 2014 and became a certified Guardian with the National Guardian Association that same year. I am past president of the Encinitas Lions Club and serve on the board of directors for the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and currently hold the position of Treasurer.
With many years working with clients, non-profits and having a heart of compassion for others, it has given me a desire to work as a Professional Fiduciary. I believe everyone should have an advocate, someone who is on their side to help when the need arises and with only their personal interest in mind. I believe it’s necessary to be honest, have integrity and have a commitment and loyalty with each client to help make things simpler, and less complicated and less confusing and hopefully less stressful.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Oceanside, California and am a proud mother of two incredible sons – Christopher and Nicholas. My sons and their spouses and my adorable granddaughter Emily along with my sister, nieces and nephews are also local, so I enjoy being surrounded by a strong support system. I enjoy my time with family and lifetime friends and enjoy the beautiful state we live in.
